Trunk or Treat-Plantersville Town Hall-6:00-8:00 p.m.

Hosted by the Mayor's Youth Council, Volunteer Fire and Police Departments

Residents are asked to decorate their vehicles, open their trunks and fill them with candy.  Everyone is welcome to participate, come in costume and enojy refreshments and a great time. We will also have face painting.  Feel free to browse in the book swap section and bring non-perishable food items for the Annual Food Drive Project.

2nd Annual Food Drive

The Mayor's Youth Council is sponsoring the second annual Food Drive to assist needy families and shut-ins in the Plantersville Area.  Drop off location is town hall.  On Saturday, November 12th, the Youth Council will be going door to door delivering grocery bags with instructions about donating nonn-perishable food items and/or cash or check donations.  They will return the following Saturday, November 19th, to pick up the donatoins.  The final drive will be held at the annual Community Thanksgiving Service at New Zion M. B. Church on Pinecest on Sunday night, November 20th, at 6:30 p.m.  The boxes will be distributed on Tuesday, November 22nd and Wedneseday, November 23rd.  For more information, call town hall at 662-844-2012.
